Our Development and Quality teams both use the SAF (Sécurité Alimentaire et de Formulation – Food safety and formulation) software, developed for SAVENA Group’s subsidiaries, to enable the qualification of ingredients, flavourings and additives on over 200 criteria, including: Composition, botanical, animal and geographical origins, allergens, nutritional values, contaminants, and decontamination processes.
This information on raw materials is calculated based on the formulas and cross-referenced with the customers' specifications. Six people in the group’s technical and regulatory department maintain this database and are in constant contact with customers to advise them on labelling issues.
